Field Service Technician
Position Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, configure, test, maintain, evaluate, troubleshoot, pre-commission, commission, and repair wastewater equipment.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance or repair of equipment and associated equipment.
- Conduct installation of equipment at customer sites and provide pre-installation assistance.
- Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation to prepare for startup or service.
- Train customer personnel on basic equipment operation.
- Provide on-site and telephone support, including in-depth troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through solution-oriented communications.
- Work with engineering, project management, and management teams to resolve escalated problems.
- Document all activities and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain customer equipment and provide technical recommendations to maintenance technicians and operators.
- Support other Field Service Technicians in the field.
- Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent mechanical-industrial repair/service work experience, minimum 1-2 years in related field.
- Experience in an industrial setting is a plus.
- Attitude and aptitude to develop high-level customer service skills and respond quickly to service calls.
- Motivated and fast-paced personality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision once trained/onboarded.
- Physical ability to perform job requirements.
- Read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Proficient computer skills for producing required reports.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to operate a forklift or be trained.
- Able to travel within the company's territory, including the outer islands, Guam, Saipan, and American Samoa.
- Maintain company-provided equipment and tools.
Pay Details
Salary: $50,000-70,000 annually

Duties may include operating and maintaining pumps, valves, and process control systems; operating DOT-regulated vehicles and heavy equipment; monitoring gas levels, entry permits, and rescue procedures; handling hazardous chemicals and pressurized systems; participating in or supervising entry into confined spaces, trenches, and at heights; and complying with drug and alcohol testing policies.
Required Training
