Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain field equipment ensuring reliability and high customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, emergency repairs on all EAM equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking and test equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic software to identify faults and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with Mosca Engineering to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Generate detailed service reports explaining work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions needed.
- Develop and adhere to travel schedules and itineraries to meet customer needs and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining composure under pressure to ensure top-tier customer service.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of machine systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
- Basic experience with control systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs.
- Electromechanical expertise with conveyance systems, understanding of sensors, electric motors, and their interactions.
- Ability to use a multimeter, perform point-to-point testing, read electrical schematics, and trace circuits.
- Able to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Initiative and self-motivation to work independently.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, including web-based service reporting, video conferencing, and face-to-face interactions.
- Extensive travel within the U.S. (80%) on weekdays.
- In-house training and continuous on-the-job field training with senior field staff.
- Company-provided vehicle, corporate expense account, credit card, laptop, cell phone, personal safety equipment, company logoed clothing, parts inventory, and tools.
- Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience.
- Corrugated industry experience a plus.
- Mechanical understanding of strapping machines, preferable with Mosca experience.
- High school diploma.
- Valid driver's license.
- Solid mechanical and electrical background.
- Preferred PLC experience.
- Associates degree.
