Job Summary
EAM-Mosca Corp., a market leader in end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking a Field Service Technician for the St. Louis, MO region.

Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain field equipment to ensure reliability and high customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, and emergency repairs on all EAM equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking and test equipment.
- Work closely with engineering to provide top-tier customer service.
- Generate detailed service reports explaining work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions.
- Communicate with area service managers to develop and manage travel schedules and itineraries.
- Operate with urgency and composure to maintain high levels of customer service.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of machine systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts.
- Basic experience with control systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs.
- Electromechanical expertise with conveyance systems, understanding of sensors, electric motors, and their interactions.
- Ability to use a multimeter, perform point-to-point testing, and read electrical schematics.
- Able to use calipers and micrometers.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including web-based service reporting, video conferencing, and face-to-face interactions.
- Extensive travel within the U.S. (80%)
- In-house training and continuous on-the-job field training with senior staff.
- Company-provided vehicle, corporate expense account, credit card, laptop, cell phone, personal safety equipment, company logoed clothing, parts inventory, and tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience.
- Corrugated industry experience is a plus.
- Mechanical understanding of strapping machines, with preference given to Mosca.
- High school diploma.
- Valid driver's license.
- Solid mechanical and electrical background.
- Preferred PLC experience.
- Associates degree.
