Responsibilities

  • Perform ANSI-certified calibrations, maintenance, equipment repairs and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
  • Stay updated and attend all identified required training.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships; provide service and technical support.
  • Collaborate with Office Administrator for scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate customer and equipment records.
  • Identify potential clients and cultivate sales opportunities to support territory growth.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is completed according to best practice.
  • Travel up to 80%; work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Calibrate equipment received at regional office and coordinate returns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required Skills/Abilities: Effective verbal & written communication with professional appearance, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent sales and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and database management systems.
  • Education And Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. A two (2) year Technical or Engineering degree or related experience required. Willingness to follow the guidelines detailed in the e3 Proficiency and Certification handbook.

Compensation

Starting salary of $55,000, with commission eligibility after training and required competencies are met (typically after 6+ months).

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
  • Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending and lifting throughout the workday.
  • Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clear driving record.
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
  • Must pass Drug Test.
