Responsibilities
- Install, debug, and provide technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, primarily on customer premises.
- Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, and minor product repairs within an assigned territory.
- Inspect products for correct operation, resolve noted issues, and escalate according to established procedures.
- Schedule services, complete required paperwork, and work with customers to ensure satisfaction and understanding of product functionality.
- Gain familiarity with Field Service Technician practices and procedures, performing tasks with guidance or alongside experienced technicians, including:
- Incident Handling: Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software failures, perform component-level hardware repairs, clean and adjust mechanical components, and configure/install software.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine checks according to documented procedures and refill consumables as directed.
- IMAC/R: Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software products.
- Customer Training: Instruct and train customers on the usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
- Participate in regular hardware and software trainings (on-the-job, classroom, and web-based).
- Contribute to achieving agreed KPIs and assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Education or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and driving record that satisfies DN’s fleet requirements.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, and relevant experience. Certain roles may include additional components beyond base salary, such as incentive opportunities or other forms of variable compensation.
