Field Service Technician

Culligan is expanding and seeking dependable, organized individuals with customer-service experience to join our team as field service technicians. This role is ideal for those with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

About the Role

This position will be based in the Sacramento, CA office with occasional travel to area Culligan branches as needed. You’ll perform equipment diagnostics, installations, and repairs on residential and commercial water treatment systems while representing Culligan through direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Complete scheduled service orders daily.
• Perform diagnostics, installation, or removal of water treatment equipment; identify malfunctions and resolve issues.
• Communicate equipment status and solutions to customers.
• Collect payments upon completion of services and assist with past-due receivables.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the Sacramento area.
• Available to work Tuesday through Saturday.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
• One year of plumbing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and kneel/bend for extended periods.
• Ability to drive for extended periods (2–3 hours).

Candidates offered a position will undergo a DOT physical (at hire and every two years), drug screen, and background check in accordance with state and federal laws.
