Field Service Technician
About the role
Culligan is expanding and seeks individuals with experience in customer-focused positions to serve as field service technicians. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical aptitude and be willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of a Company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Complete scheduled service orders daily.
- Perform complete equipment diagnostics, installation or removal on residential and commercial water treatment equipment, identify malfunctions, and resolve issues accordingly.
- Represent Culligan through direct interaction with customers.
- Communicate the status of equipment with customers and provide solutions.
- Collect payments upon completion of services.
- Aid in the collection of past due receivables.
Requirements
- Appropriate, valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the city area where you would be working.
- Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
- Minimum one year of plumbing experience required.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Drive for extended periods (2-3 hours).
- Kneel/bend for extended periods of time.

$20-23/hour Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Schedule
Based in the Modesto, CA office with occasional travel to area Culligan branches on an as needed basis.
