Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and schedule service calls, equipment installations, removals, and preventive maintenance with guidance from the Warehouse Manager or Field Service Supervisor.
- Drive a company vehicle to customer locations to perform on-site service tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Install and remove brewing and serving equipment, utilizing plumbing and basic electrical skills as needed.
- Diagnose issues by observing equipment performance and using appropriate troubleshooting techniques.
- Repair or replace defective parts, make mechanical adjustments, and test equipment functionality after service.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and minimize customer disruption.
- Manage parts inventory, including initiating purchase orders for machines and replacement parts as required.
- Properly open and close work orders using a handheld device, record parts usage, and ensure accurate documentation of installations, removals, and repairs.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform regular inspections and scheduled maintenance.
- Safely handle, label, and store defective or warranty-eligible parts in compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customers to confirm equipment placement and service needs.
- Support bench repair work or in-shop equipment servicing when needed.
- Report any property damage caused by company equipment and assist in documenting incidents in the absence of a supervisor.
Position Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Passing score on an aptitude test may be required if a diploma is unavailable.
- 3 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, or similar mechanical field.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting required.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; CDL may be required depending on location.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proficiency with handheld computer devices preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical.
