Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform timely in-house troubleshooting, repair, and testing on customer instruments.
• Auxiliary in-house and in-field troubleshooting of customer instruments.
• Complete and submit accurate "Instrument Repair Log" documents, including diagnosis, repair estimates, and descriptions.
• Offer technical and operational support to customers via phone, email, and other communication methods.
• Issue Service Request Forms (SRF) for in-house repairs.
• Stay updated on new methods, techniques, and advanced maintenance procedures.
• Inform management of customer issues and technical problems.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the customer base.
• Schedule and confirm in-field services with customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with Associates, Technical Certificate, or military training in electronics.
• Previous knowledge of electronics.
• Experience testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and volt meters.
• Field service experience required.
