We're looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to help install, maintain, repair, and support fuel storage systems and related equipment at customer locations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fuel storage tanks, pumps, meters, monitoring systems, and related equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on customer fueling equipment
  • Clean, prepare, and paint fuel tanks and equipment as needed
  • Assist with fuel tank repairs, upgrades, relocations, and removals
  • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutions to customers
  • Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of their equipment
  • Complete service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation
  • Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and customer site requirements
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Al Warren Oil positively at all customer locations
  • Work closely with operations, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and safe condition

Requirements

  • Required High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B) with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain Tanker Endorsement within a specified timeframe
  • Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

Preferred Experience

  • With fuel tanks, pumps, meters, fuel monitoring systems, or petroleum equipment
  • Experience operating medium-duty commercial vehicles
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, or industrial maintenance experience
  • OSHA, Hazwoper, or related safety certifications
  • Experience working in the petroleum, construction, fleet fueling, or industrial services industries

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Ability to work at customer sites, construction locations, and industrial facilities
