Responsibilities
- Demonstrating equipment to potential customers.
- Installing new or modified equipment at customer’s facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Aiding in the training of new operators at customer sites.
- Providing on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment.
- Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Attending trade shows which may include assembling and disassembling equipment.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required, an Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of four years of construction equipment related service experience preferred.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- Mechanical knowledge – Hydraulics, Electronics, Pneumatics, Transfer Pumps, High Pressure Pumps, Pressurized Vessels, Burners, Furnaces.
- Willingness to travel (up to 95%) throughout the United States and Canada Includes flying and driving.
- Excel in customer service.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
- Reach with hands and arms and talk or hear;
- Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
- Must regularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques;
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse outside weather conditions.
