Responsibilities
- Perform routine installations and maintenance on assigned products.
- Utilize corporate processes to locate software revisions and appropriate documentation.
- Verify software status and perform log analysis of system errors to determine issues.
- Troubleshoot both hardware and software effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and company engineering for daily site operations.
- Prepare and submit necessary paperwork with supervision.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on complex automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, identifying root causes of failures.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment safely and effectively.
- Support warehouse-based staging, kitting, and equipment preparation activities.
- Document work performed, maintenance actions, and issues per established procedures.
- Follow safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in a semiconductor environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to support operational goals.
- Provide shift hand-off communication for front-end and back-end day shift coverage.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or field service involving conveyors.
- Experience with conveyors, automated equipment, or material handling systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with automated material handling systems (AMHS) is advantageous.
- Exposure to electrical, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems.
- Previous contract or contract-to-hire experience in an industrial setting.
- Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints, identifying components.
- A valid Driver's License is required.

Work Environment
- Based in a warehouse and equipment staging environment supporting semiconductor operations.
- Compressed workweek schedule, alternating between 3 and 4 days of work each week, with overtime available.
- Strict safety and quality standards, with PPE required, including hard hats, steel-toe boots, and protective eyewear.
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts and electrical systems, with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions.
- Moderate noise level, and employees should be comfortable working in confined spaces.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58,240.00 - $60,320.00/yr.
