About the role
As a Field Service Technician, you will set up, integrate, and thoroughly test equipment and systems at client locations to ensure optimal functionality and reliability. You will demonstrate equipment performance and capabilities to customers, provide rapid support for critical equipment failures, and perform emergency repairs by diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective solutions. Additionally, you will educate clients on proper equipment operation, communicate proactively with customers and internal teams, serve as the primary technical liaison, and submit detailed service reports.
Responsibilities
- Set up, integrate, and test equipment and systems at client locations to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Demonstrate equipment performance and capabilities to customers, confirming proper operation.
- Provide rapid support for critical equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Perform emergency repairs by diagnosing technical issues and implementing timely solutions.
- Educate and assist clients on proper equipment operation to maximize efficiency.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with customers and internal teams to provide service updates.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison, managing customer interactions and issue resolution.
- Submit detailed service reports, including parts used, time spent, and corrective actions taken.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years of field service experience and knowledge of precision cylindrical grinding.
- Centerless and double disc grinding knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of CNC machines with servo drives & motors.
- Experience with programmable Logic Controls such as Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens, etc.
- Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to travel 75% to engage with customers.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Pay
$28 – $38 per hour (rate offered will be based on experience).
