The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Field Services Tech I in the Street Department. The incumbent operates equipment such as trucks, tractors, and mowers and uses a variety of power and hand tools in maintaining City streets, culverts, right-of-way, storm sewers, and other public property.
Responsibilities
- Operates equipment such as trucks, tractors, and mowers

- Maintains City streets, culverts, right-of-way, storm sewers, and other public property
- Trains in preparation to test for and obtain an OK Commercial Class "B" license with Air Brakes endorsement
- Eligible to reclassify to a Street Equipment Operator I upon receipt of this license
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous experience with street and mowing equipment, including tractor, mower, and backhoe is desired
- Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable
- Must be at least 18 years old
Qualifications

- Eligible to reclassify to a Street Equipment Operator I upon obtaining an OK Commercial Class "B" license with Air Brakes endorsement
