Field Service Tech
About the role
We are looking for a Field Service Technician in Seattle, WA. This position offers a competitive hourly base pay range of $30.00/hr - $45.00/hr, with a quarterly bonus opportunity. Shifts are Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with 4-10 hour shifts and on-call hours required.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, test, and inspect Airgas and/or customer owned liquid and gas equipment storage systems, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide.
- Install, maintain, test, and inspect customer distribution/regulation systems, applications equipment, telemonitoring equipment, instrumentation, and air compressors, as well as various small on-site nitrogen generation systems.
- Build alignment with outside service providers, customer service engineering, sales and distribution on installations and removals.
- Provide for appropriate use of company assets, maintain essential records of work performed, compile billing information and total related costs of work performed.
- Perform work in conformance with established safety procedures while fostering positive customer relationships through the appearance and operation of every installation.
- Travel throughout assigned territory - company vehicle provided.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; College or technical degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to work in a drug-free environment.
- Able to be on call 24/7.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years diagnostic and repair experience required in some or all of the following: cryogenics, high pressure piping, brazing, electrical circuits, refrigeration, PLCs, and process instrumentation.
- ASSE 6015/CGA M1 certification a plus.
