About the role
The Field Service Supervisor leads our talented team of Field Service Technicians in getting our customers back to work. As a Field Service Supervisor, you will manage the day-to-day Field Service Department operations, be the first point of contact in communication with our customers during and outside of regular business hours, dispatch service technicians, and lead the service staff. You will also take part in the development and training of your field technicians and be involved in process reviews to ensure that we are running an efficient and effective service department.
Responsibilities

- Participate in process reviews to improve department efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior mechanical knowledge of the products to be serviced
- Technical background with heavy equipment, preferably Caterpillar products
- Previous supervisory experience
- Previous experience with dispatching service technicians
Qualifications
- Highly motivated with excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication and customer interaction abilities
- Advanced computer skills with an understanding of Caterpillar systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in a team
- Exceptional knowledge of construction equipment
- Strong organizational skills

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office setting and stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including computer keyboard use
- Verbally communicate to exchange information
- Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
