Field Service Specialist II - CA

About the role

The Field Service Specialist II role is pivotal to our healthcare technology team, ensuring the peak operational status of vital medical imaging equipment. This role is ideal for a skilled technician passionate about imaging equipment maintenance, aiming to enhance patient care quality and clinical engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in specific technologies like Digital Radiography, CT systems, and vascular imaging equipment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, demonstrating leadership and accountability in all technical operations.
• This position covers Marian Regional, Arroyo Grande, French Hospital, and the surrounding satellite locations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray (Rad, including but not limited to Rad Rooms, Portables, and C-Arms).
• Must have the ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of imaging equipment.
• Aceess to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• CRES preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and or Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.

Pay

The posted compensation range of $45.26 - $67.32 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
