Field Service Specialist

About the role

The Field Service Technician is responsible for on-site electrical service activities involved with unit placement and setup completion for TRACHTE Engineered Buildings. This position requires construction/ commercial related electrical experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Positioning all building parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled and having a detailed insight and understanding of drawings and supporting documentation.
• Represent the company with professionalism and appropriate conduct when providing on-site services, working with the customer, customer representative, subcontractors, or fellow employees.
• Must be willing to work overtime, as needed.
• Accountable for all travel expense reporting for assigned on-site services.
• Able to follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Willing to work remotely from anywhere in the US and travel a minimum of 50% of the time after a 100% onsite training period at our WI or GA locations for 4-6 months.
• Maintain an excellent driving record and be approved to operate company vehicles.

Requirements

Requires an associate degree or minimum 3+ years of experience as an electrician. Subject to random OSHA safety training, job site training, drug screens, and background checks.

Qualifications

Strong customer service background. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Skills

Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
