About the role
The Field Service Specialist will provide specialized repair and maintenance services for diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment, expanding on FSS I duties.
Responsibilities
- Primarily repair and maintain intermediate imaging equipment (DR, basic CT/CT Sim, oncology, Vascular/Specials)
- Leverage training to reduce contract dependency
- Lead within Clinical Engineering, assisting FSS with imaging equipment repair
- Manage service emergencies and communicate with stakeholders
- Order parts and supplies
- Provide rotating on-call coverage and perform general biomedical duties
- Offer input on new service opportunities
- Stay current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, upon hire or Technical School graduate of technical program, upon hire or training validated through training certificates, upon hire or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing technical equipment, upon hire
- Valid Driver's License

Pay
The posted compensation range of $44.18 - $72.89 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
Full-time position with 80 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm), including 75% travel.
