About the role
The Field Service Manager oversees the selection, preparation, and training of field-service staff within a designated area. This role ensures the successful delivery and documentation of Acme Cryogenic Services, coordinates the creation and upkeep of training materials for customers and internal teams, and maintains current product documentation for installation and servicing. The position collaborates with regional counterparts to standardize technical-services delivery and provides consultation to internal, external, and potential customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality service to internal and external customers while demonstrating Acme Cryogenics Values.
- Ensure timely, consistent delivery and reporting of Acme Cryogenics Services purchased by customers.
- Develop and deliver training programs for Acme Cryogenics staff, customers, and potential customers.
- Create and deliver in-service training programs, measuring their effectiveness.
- Prepare, communicate, and achieve area budgets and training objectives.
- Participate in regional service training and meetings to maintain consistent material and service delivery.
- Support initiatives that ensure a successful and consistent customer experience.
- Prepare and monitor annual area budgets.
- Provide input and feedback to regional leadership on field-service goals and progress.
- Manage a field-service team responsible for installations and services of Acme Cryogenics products in a designated operational area.
- Develop, compile, and maintain current product documentation for installation, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of fieldwork experience with significant customer contact, including staff development.
- Domestic travel approximately 50% to support and sell Acme Cryogenics installations and services at customer sites.
- Experience with quoting projects is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Cryogenic experience is a plus.

- Technical-level working knowledge of Acme Cryogenics products.
