Field Service Manager

About the Role

Advantage Pro Services, a trusted Houston‑based home exterior care company founded in 1999, is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead its crews across the Houston area. This is an on‑site, hands‑on leadership position that reports to the President / Operating Partner and directly manages field technicians and crews (Lead Techs, Tech Drivers, Exterior Preservation Specialists). The role is focused on maintaining the company’s 5‑star reputation by ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction on every job.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations: Schedule and dispatch crews, set daily priorities, and keep jobs moving on time while ensuring staffing and routing meet target efficiency.
• Quality & Consistency: Inspect work, catch problems before customers see them, own return visits and rework, and uphold a high‑quality bar with direct feedback when standards slip.
• People Development: Train new technicians, coach veteran crew members, and develop Lead Techs and Tech Drivers from within the team.
• Communication & Accountability: Document field activities, keep the office informed, own fixes and root‑cause follow‑ups, and align sales promises with delivery.
• Safety & Reporting: Enforce safety and company standards on every site, track crew performance, and report results with data‑driven metrics.

Requirements

• Field‑first leadership experience managing crews in home services, property services, construction, landscaping, restoration, or a similar hands‑on trade.
• Ownership mindset focused on results rather than hours logged.
• Strong documentation and clear communication skills.
• Proven track record of developing new hires into reliable professionals.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability to work early and on‑site across the Houston area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (a real plus for crew interaction).
• Experience in residential exterior services such as pressure washing, window cleaning, or gutter work, or comparable route‑based field work.
• Familiarity with field service software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jobber, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of the Houston‑area market.

Pay

Base salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 (or $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience) plus a monthly/annual performance bonus.

Schedule

Full‑Time, on‑site position based in Houston, TX.
