The Field Service Engineering (FSE) Team Lead position at Meissner is designed for individuals who enjoy problem-solving and combining their technical expertise with exceptional customer service skills. This role involves leading a team of professionals in providing efficient and effective service to customers in the bio-pharma and pharmaceutical industries.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all service activities meet Meissner’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead a team of skilled professionals and contribute to the ongoing success of the company.
- Train customer personnel on the operation of equipment and devices.
- Generate service, problem, and resolution reports for technical services provided.
- Manage calibration of instruments to ensure they are available for service use.
- Perform necessary overnight travel, approximately 30-40% of the time, including some weekends.
- Identify roadblocks, challenges, inefficiencies, and gaps, and develop and implement solutions.
- Assist in establishing a new parts and service group through the creation of documentation and new processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years working experience in a similar position, with a minimum of 2-3 years leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with computer aided design (CAD) and programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) and industrial controls.
- Motivated and willing to assist in the establishment of a new parts and service group through the creation of documentation and new processes.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with computer aided design (CAD).
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) and industrial controls.
Pay
The base pay scale for this role is $98,300 - $125,800.
