Responsibilities

  • Interface with clients on many different levels and engage with PCI culture and mission.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Meet with client contacts regularly to provide support, gather feedback, present proposals, renew POs, and inform clients about PCI's service offerings.
  • Participate in at least one professional organization to align with PCI's mission of being an industry leader.
  • Lead, communicate with, and manage associates, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing development plans.
  • Mentor new hires and oversee technical services such as calibration and other technical services.
  • Manage project risks and profitability by supervising resources, developing schedules, and ensuring compliance with client and PCI regulations.
  • Ensure all team members complete calibrations and other tasks accurately and on time, adhering to PCI or client-specific policies and procedures.
  • Host and participate in meetings to discuss new services, client expansions, and resource scheduling issues.
  • Assure compliance with client and PCI safety requirements and maintain client account files according to company procedures.
  • Communicate project risks and issues to the Team Manager/PCI management promptly.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and application of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations in various environments.
  • Thorough understanding of NIST, GMP, and other regulated standards and guidelines.
  • Expert knowledge of test equipment and capabilities, including tolerance requirements and 4:1 TAR.
  • Exceptional computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CMMS tools like MAS500 Pivot Table and project KPI module.
  • Knowledge and substantial experience with calibration accuracy testing requirements.
  • Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices.
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent military training, with four plus years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical/Quality industry.
  • Leadership and client relations experience preferred.

Skills

  • Calibration expertise, including extensive instrumentation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, both with clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to interpret client requests and form proposals or quotations.
  • Excellent computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) skills.
  • Experience with external professional organizations such as ISPE, ASQ, PDA, etc.
  • External certification preferred (ISA, ASQ, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
