What You’ll Do
- Repair and maintain equipment with a focus on HPLC, GC, LC, and MST
- Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of special equipment, systems, and controls
- Operate test equipment such as multimeters, frequency generators, counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work
- Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment
- If needed, initiate corrective action and document findings
What You’ll Need
- OEM or third-party repair experience
- Major electronic or mechanical repair experience on chromatography-related systems
- Proficiency with any of the following instrumentation/technology: Agilent/MassHunter/OpenLab, Sciex/MultiQuant, Shimadzu, Waters, Thermo
- A 4-year degree in a related field; 5-7 years of job-related experience (in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered)
- Appropriate license or certification where required by law
- Ability to travel up to 80% overnight
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- A valid U.S. drivers license; in good standing
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments

Compensation
The minimum salary for the Field Service Engineer position is $115,000 annually, with a maximum salary of $130,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including education, training, and experience.
