Field Service Engineer II - Laboratory Instrument Services (SW Region)

What You’ll Do

• Repair and maintenance of equipment with emphasis on HPLC, GC, LC, and MST
• Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of special equipment, systems, and controls
• Operate test equipment such as multimeters, frequency generators, and counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes
• Troubleshoot, service, or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work
• Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment
• If needed, start corrective action and documentation

What You’ll Need

• OEM or 3rd party repair experience
• Major electronic or mechanical repair experience on a chromatography related system
• Proficiency with any of the following instrumentation/technology: Agilent/MassHunter/OpenLab, Sciex/MultiQuant, Shimadzu, Waters, Thermo
• 4 year degree in a related field; 5-7 years of job-related experience
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
• Must have appropriate license or certification where required by law
• Ability to travel up to 80% overnight
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• A valid U.S. drivers license; in good standing
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments
