About the Opportunity

The Field Service Engineer II role supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of diagnostic equipment, directly impacting patient health and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance, modification, and repair services for diagnostic instruments.
• Document and complete service activities in compliance with ISO, FDA, and company policies.
• Support sales efforts for service contracts and assist with system configurations and upgrades.
• Provide feedback to improve service financial performance.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with 3+ years of field service experience; or bachelor's degree in science with 1+ year of experience; or equivalent military experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 90%, primarily domestically with occasional international trips.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various physical activities.
• Preferred experience includes diagnosing and repairing medical devices or scientific instruments, field service engineering, networking or IT system upgrades, or working in a laboratory or hospital environment.

Pay

• Hourly rate of $30.00–$40.00.
• Eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.
