Field Service Calibration Technician

About the Role

Well-established calibration service organization is seeking a Field Service Calibration Technician for a full-time position based out of our Tempe, AZ location. The candidate will be responsible for providing calibration services in the lab as well as managing the calibration services for the customer. The Field Services Calibration Technician will work independently overseeing and managing the customer’s calibration needs. A successful candidate should be a self-starter, have attention to detail, possess good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and have computer competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide calibration services, which can include measurement, temperature, torque, pressure, etc.
• Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
• Maintain calibration standards
• Working knowledge and competency in mechanical and physical dimensional calibrations with instruments/tools such as:
  • Calipers, micrometers, indicators, crimpers
  • Torque drivers, torque wrenches, torque analyzers
  • Pressure gauges, temperature equipment, force equipment
• Perform calibration work within a laboratory setting
• Schedule/send out items for calibration and/or repair
• Fulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirements and standards
• Other duties as assigned
