Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule, plan, and execute daily sales calls with assigned and future customers within the assigned territory.
  • Travel daily within the assigned territory to meet with customers in face-to-face sales calls.
  • Services existing accounts, establish new accounts, enter orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential accounts.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of needs or opportunity account has.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential accounts tool and consumable usage.
  • Submits orders by referring to price guidance provided on company literature, web site and software.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Communicates with retail store in your area to adjust inventory to your customer’s specific needs.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Possesses technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer’s needs and product application and uses.
  • Utilize analytical modeling to initiate needs and make recommendations for expansions, new facilities, new equipment, etc.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • High school degree (or equivalent) required with secondary education (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B distribution sales (Cleaning & Restoration preferred).
  • Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Travel Required 80% Travel with overnight stay(s).
