Job Summary

Kiva Confections relies on the Field Sales Representative (FSR) to manage and grow relationships with accounts in assigned geographic markets. The FSR will be the primary point of contact for these accounts and will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, developing and executing collaborative programs with Kiva's retail partners, building relationships, and identifying and closing new business opportunities within their assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets by actively managing and expanding sales within existing accounts and proactively prospecting for new business.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts, including owners, buyers, dispensary managers, budtenders, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Program Development: Working closely with Kiva Trade Marketing Managers and retail partners to design and implement Sales Driving Activities that include, but not limited to: promotional programs, incentives/contests, customer displays and merchandising, product launches, brand and product training, and other initiatives that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Data and analytics provide insights that drive decision-making, strategy development, and performance measurement, enabling you to understand your business and achieve success.
  • New Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned market, including targeting new accounts and expanding Kiva brands and product distribution within existing accounts.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience with increasing responsibility
  • 2+ years of Cannabis industry experience preferred
  • Proficient with Google Suite and CRM tools are necessary; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Must be able to meet Kiva’s Motor Vehicle Report requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel extensively 4 days per week within the assigned market to work with retailer partners and consumers

  • This role operates primarily in a remote/home office environment using standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools.

  • Occasional travel to company offices, client sites, or team meetings may be necessary based on business needs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically low.
  • Employees must have reliable internet access and an appropriate remote workspace that supports confidentiality and productivity.
  • Must be able to load, unload, and move materials or equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • May require standing, climbing, or working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
