About the role

At Service Champions, we are looking for a Field Sales Representative (FSR) who is passionate about helping homeowners improve their living environments. This position requires a valid CSLB Home Improvement Sales (HIS) License upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform home surveys, physically accessing rooftops, attics, and crawlspaces to take accurate measurements.
  • Engage & Close: Present improvement and replacement options clearly, getting clients "happily engaged" with our world-class products.
  • Own the Process: Manage your own sales pipeline, completing documents within 24 hours and arranging payments.
  • Collaborate: Partner closely with our Production teams to ensure the job is executed seamlessly and the client is 100% satisfied.
  • Represent Service Champions' core values in every interaction, from the first greeting to the final contract.

Requirements

  • Licensed Pros: Must obtain a valid CSLB Home Improvement Sales (HIS) License upon hire.
  • Physical Agility: Ability to navigate all areas of a home, including attics and basements.
  • Reliability: Punctuality is non-negotiable.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen ability to manage multiple tasks, handle complex paperwork, and make smart judgments in tricky situations.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven experience in a high-priority sales environment.
  • Technical Literacy: Foundational understanding of (or the ability to quickly learn) residential HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to provide accurate recommendations.
  • Administrative Accuracy: High attention to detail regarding contracts, Fee for Service sheets, and payment processing.
  • Communication Excellence: Ability to listen actively to client needs and translate technical jargon into clear, value-based options for homeowners.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a high-priority sales environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to present technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
