Field Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and identify new prospects to sell FMC products.
- Develop and execute account plans, negotiate to meet sales targets, and consider margins and revenue.
- Build and maintain customer relationships and resolve customer issues.
- Prepare sales presentations, call plans, proposals, and reports for internal and external communication.
- Obtain and communicate market information related to sales volumes.
- Forecast customer business plans/needs and obtain and communicate competitive practices.
- Aid in the assessment of competitive information and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with peer sales professionals and corporate commercial colleagues to provide value-added service to accounts.
- Identify opportunities and implement appropriate actions within a customer segmentation model considering account financials.
- Coordinate interfaces between customers and other company resources (technical, supply chain) to provide value-added service to accounts.
- Work 50% travel to service territory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture or related Life Science.
- Certified Crop Advisor or MBA preferred.
