Field Sales Engineer
About the role
ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in door opening solutions dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and accessible building environment. This role involves promoting and selling ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment.
Responsibilities
- Sell ASSA ABLOY EM and EAC products and solutions in a team selling environment.
- Certify integrators’ sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training.
- Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel.
- Facilitate deployments of product test beds at certified integrator’s facilities, trial installations at select end user locations, and initial installations with live integration into EAC systems.
- Collaborate and develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory.
- Develop wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings with electrical contractors and other stakeholders, conduct site surveys and audits with integrators, and check on implemented solutions.
- Strategize with team to win the highest overall product content.
- Troubleshoot EM and EAC product-related issues and make operational adjustments, preferably in collaboration with the integrator.

- Work experience commensurate with minimum high school/GED diploma, or a College/University degree in related fields such as architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs.
Schedule
This role requires the ability to travel and meet customer requirements.
