Field Safety Professional
About the role
The role involves conducting hazard and risk assessments for Grainger customers across various industries. You will design solutions to reduce hazards and risks, expand Grainger's business relationships, and educate customers on safety regulations and industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct needs analysis to match customer requirements with Grainger's products or services.
- Develop and implement plans to address identified hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with the Grainger sales team to target and support customer needs.
- Maintain expertise in Safety Regulations and industry topics.
- Educate customers on changing market trends and technology impacts to their business.
- Investigate non-standard solutions to meet customer needs profitably.
- Expand customer understanding and use of Grainger's standard product and service capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant EHS industry experience involving safety hazard analysis and mitigation, safety consulting, or overseeing safety programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent experience.
- CSP certification preferred.
- Experience conducting workplace assessments to prevent injuries/accidents and improve compliance.
- Knowledgeable of Safety, Health, and Environmental strategies and practices to reduce or eliminate hazards and risks.
- Current working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Basic project management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $80,700.00 – $134,500.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 %, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.
