Responsibilities

• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
• Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option
• Buils mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st party homeowners' losses with complexity
• Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company

Requirements

• At least 2 years of field property claims experience
• Strong proficiency with Xactimate
• Demonstrated experience writing estimates on-site
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solid knowledge of residential dwelling construction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple claims effectively
