Field Project Manager
Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will get to manage all site-specific activities for a small project, or a subtask of a larger project, in accordance with the project requirements at McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, TN.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ensures proper procedures are followed with respect to work impacting the Airport
- Plans and executes all aspects of assigned projects including the development of scope of work (SOW) documents, budgets, schedules, and project implementation plans
- Maintains and evaluates contractor schedules and cost impacts; assists in evaluating claims and change requests and negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and CMAR
- Develops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support the Program
- Aids contractor with development of utility outage notices and operational impact notices
- Provides project/program reporting to client; responds to issues and/or expectation concerns
- Ensures all contractor deliverables are complete, correct, and submitted on schedule
- Collaborates with team leadership to establish and maintain program/project schedule and budget
Required Skills
- Strong airport operations and infrastructure knowledge
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving stakeholder and contractor issues
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- The ability to manage multiple contracts and timelines without delay
Desired Skills
- Proficiency with Procore or similar project management software
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 10+ years related work experience/3+ years in a leadership role at a field site
- Background in airport operations and infrastructure
