About the role
Dynamic EcoHome is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead the field operations in Houston, Texas. This role involves significant hands-on work at job sites, with responsibilities ranging from safety and quality assurance to scheduling and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily installation and construction activities throughout the Houston market
- Spend the majority of your time close to the operation, including regular job-site visits and field inspections
- Set clear expectations and hold field teams accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance
- Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, delays, rework, and wasted labor
- Improve crew assignments, route planning, material flow, scheduling, and job-site sequencing
- Build practical dashboards that track labor utilization, cycle time, throughput, quality, and cost
- Redesign inefficient processes and test improvements directly in the field
- Establish standardized procedures that improve consistency without slowing execution
- Investigate recurring operational problems and lead root-cause analysis
- Anticipate problems and take action before they affect customers or project timelines
- Coach installers, electricians, technicians, and emerging field leaders
- Cookordinate with project management, engineering, warehouse, customer service, and senior leadership
- Present Houston’s performance, constraints, priorities, and improvement plans to company leadership
- Make confident decisions in changing conditions with limited oversight
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Zero to five years of professional experience - New Grads are encouraged to apply!
- Strong preference for candidates with one to three years of experience in operations, construction, manufacturing, logistics, field services, or continuous improvement
- Demonstrated leadership through competitive athletics, coaching, military service, student organizations, internships, entrepreneurship, or team-based competitions
- A background in competitive athletics is preferred, especially when it demonstrates discipline, resilience, leadership, and a team-first mindset
- Evidence of taking ownership and delivering results beyond assigned responsibilities
- Strong analytical ability combined with a willingness to make decisions and act
- Comfortable leading experienced field employees and holding others accountable
- Willingness to work at job sites and adapt to changing field conditions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Houston market
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, capacity planning, or quality management
- Familiarity with construction operations, field services, manufacturing, logistics, or installation environments
- OSHA 30, Lean Six Sigma, CM-Lean, or comparable certification
- Experience creating dashboards, performance reports, or operational scorecards
- Leadership experience within a competitive team environment

Pay
