Field Nurse Educator

About the Role

The Nurse Educator provides personalized patient education on chronic disease management and prescribed therapies through in-person visits, calls, video, email, and SMS, always aligning with program guidelines. This role focuses solely on education, not clinical care or medical advice.

Responsibilities

• Connect patients with approved educational resources.
• Deliver disease-specific education and training related to medications.
• Support multiple disease states and therapies.
• Promote behavioral change to enhance treatment adherence.
• Encourage effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or BSN preferred; active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical healthcare experience; prior nurse educator experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 70%.
• Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and motivational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iPad technology.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing environments.
• Home workspace setup.
