About the role
Travel within the local area to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on fleet equipment at various project sites. This advanced-level role requires independent judgment, proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Service vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Conduct safety inspections
- Support less experienced mechanics when needed
- Respond to emergency repairs outside regular hours
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in heavy truck or equipment repair
- Completion of relevant vocational training (alternative to experience)
- Valid driver’s license
