About the role

The Field Mechanic performs maintenance, preventive repairs, and minor equipment repairs at project sites across Wisconsin, primarily Northern Wisconsin. They support field teams by troubleshooting and servicing fleet equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT guidelines.

The role involves travel, with a company-provided vehicle, fuel card, and lodging. It may require responding to emergencies outside regular hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
  • Conduct safety inspections on equipment and vehicles
  • Troubleshoot and service fleet equipment
  • Oversee and mentor less experienced mechanics when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory standards

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in heavy truck or equipment repair or completion of vocational training with relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company-provided vehicle
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Pay
