About the role
We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager to own regional pipeline and bring the Kai brand to life in the markets that matter most. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role for someone who knows how to plan and run high-impact field programs and campaigns, from executive dinners and industry conferences to partner events and customer roundtables and can drive the sales alignment and follow-through that turns event activity into pipeline. You'll work directly with regional sales teams and channel partners, manage budgets and logistics end to end, and be accountable for measurable results.
Why Kai?
- Well-funded: $125M raised, with the capital, runway, and resolve to rebuild cybersecurity from first principles.
- Proven: We've earned the trust of Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies, and we're just getting started. Their confidence in Kai reflects what we've built: an AI-native cybersecurity platform that performs at machine speed with human-expert accuracy.
- Experienced founders: Our founding team are second-time entrepreneurs, each with 20+ years in cybersecurity. They've built and scaled before, and they're doing it again with a bigger vision.
- Competitive compensation: Highly competitive salary, meaningful equity, and a culture where your contributions are recognized and rewarded as we grow.
What You'll Do
- Plan, organize, and execute a high-impact portfolio of regional field programs including trade shows, industry conferences, executive dinners, customer roundtables, and partner events, managing all logistics from venue selection and vendor management to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
- Serve as the primary marketing partner for regional sales teams, ensuring every program is built around territory plans, target accounts, and quarterly pipeline goals, with clear attendee recruitment strategies and coordinated follow-up plans in place before launch.
- Own budget management across all regional programs, tracking spend, ensuring proper allocation, and maximizing impact per dollar invested.
- Monitor and report on program performance across pipeline sourced and influenced, lead generation, conversion rates, and influenced ARR, partnering with RevOps to maintain clean attribution and continuously improve program effectiveness.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, events, or regional marketing, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise technology, with a track record of planning and executing programs that generate and accelerate pipeline.
- Hands-on experience planning and managing a range of field programs including trade shows, executive dinners, roundtables, and regional events, with strong attention to logistics, attendee experience, and post-event follow-through.
- Proven ability to work closely with regional sales teams and channel partners, with a track record of strong program adoption and coordinated follow-up that converts event activity into pipeline.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple programs simultaneously, manage vendors and budgets, and keep every initiative on track without losing attention to detail.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to write compelling event invitations, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up copy that drives engagement and response.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-30% for regional events and meetings.
