About the role
Events sit at the center of the Charta marketing strategy, not as a siloed channel. In healthcare, relationships and trust are built face to face, at conferences, roundtables, and dinners, which makes events one of our biggest drivers of pipeline and brand credibility. This is a strategic role with real influence over how the market experiences Charta. We're hiring our second Field Marketing Manager to own the event strategy for our main business unit, responsible for generating qualified sales pipeline and driving market awareness through exceptional event experiences targeting key buyer segments.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage an annual event calendar, budget, and KPIs across tradeshows, conferences, owned events, and executive dinners/roundtables for your business unit
- Develop and execute pre- and post-event campaigns (email, paid social, sales outreach, enablement) that maximize registration, attendance, and lead conversion into pipeline
- Manage all aspects of event execution, including our event logistics agency, vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, speaking slots, booth design and production, shipping, staffing, and on-site management
- Set clear success metrics (leads, pipeline, ROI) for every experience you own, and turn performance data into recommendations that improve quality and effectiveness over time
- Grow your scope over time into an adjacent function to drive more pipeline (e.g. customer marketing, partner marketing), based on where the business needs support
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B event or field marketing experience, preferably at a high-growth SaaS company
- Proven track record managing both large-scale, complex industry tradeshows and smaller, high-touch executive events
- Strong experience managing budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and driving measurable pipeline
- Exceptional project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
