This position is full-time and based in the Greater Maryland area, representing the following practices: Greater Maryland Oral Surgery – Gaithersburg and Greater Maryland Oral Surgery – Silver Spring.
About the role
Develop and execute strategic B2B marketing plans to increase patient referrals and treatment completion through local networking and relationship building with area dental offices and doctors. Plan and coordinate professional events for key audiences, develop meaningful social media content and marketing materials, and launch targeted local grassroots marketing initiatives in line with the offices’ brands, professional image, and target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Act as an enthusiastic advocate for the offices and its values.
- Visit offices to capture photos, videos, and reviews for social media posts that feature the practice; distribute this content directly on the practice pages and/or submit to the Brand Manager.
- Represent the offices at events, trade shows, or other promotional activities; assist with giveaways and other marketing initiatives.
- Collect feedback from office managers and relay it to the marketing team.
- Provide quarterly insights into market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities in the markets you serve; secret shop other practices.
- Identify influencers in the community and report back to the brand team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
- Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships through social skills and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
- Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented approach.
- Experience in event coordination and planning.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the capacity to learn and utilize other software platforms to enhance marketing efforts.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours occasionally; events may be held in evening hours or on weekends.
Pay
$58,000–$62,000 per year.
