Field Inventory Analyst

About the role

As a Protos Field Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of analysis for the Protos project Inventory Optimization workstream. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the demand-based inventory model, reports, and underlying data to support inventory optimization. The role also involves acting as a liaison with distributors to more efficiently manage field inventory and communication processes. Substantial on-site work with distributors during the length of the project is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a demand-driven inventory model to assist with Protos field inventory optimization initiatives.
• Act as a liaison with key data owners and stakeholders at distributor locations.
• Assist with the development and use of reports for on-site use at distributors to systematically approach demand-driven inventory optimization efforts.
• Work with sales operations, logistics, and forecasting groups to manage field inventory.
• Update and support the Protos Project Management Office (PMO) function centrally in Warsaw.
• Liaison with other Protos workstreams to integrate findings, prepare outputs, and reports.

Requirements

• Possess knowledge of field inventory processes and functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to achieve results through influence in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and identify creative solutions to complex problems.
• Understanding of supply chain and business processes including requirements planning, distribution, and sales.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems, interrelations, and tools including Microsoft Office applications, SQL, Access, VBA, and the ability to utilize these tools to deliver critical business reporting and applications.
• Understanding of Zimmer products, strategic business units, and basic manufacturing processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to impact and influence people.
• Must acquire or possess familiarity with PMO (Project Management Office) processes and functions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience with sales operations functions and inventory management/logistics.

Travel Expectations

Up to 70% travel required.

Pay

This role has a salary range of $64,355–80,444 annually plus bonus.
