Field Inventory Analyst
About the role
The Field Inventory Analyst controls effective and accurate inventory positions for the U.S. region to ensure operational success for both the agency and Corin. This role ensures consignment inventory par levels are established and maintained at all Distributor locations nationally through proactive monitoring, analysis, and reporting. It also ensures consigned inventory is accounted for through regular field audits and resolution of inventory discrepancies. This person works directly with Customer Service, Loaners, Distribution, Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments. Additionally, this position works closely with distributors and agencies within the assigned region who have consigned assets to improve inventory information, asset utilization, and cost containment.
Responsibilities
- The execution of Field Inventory Audits ensuring inventory accuracy throughout the year
- Escalate systemic issues cross-functionally for resolution
- Measure asset performance (turns) trends
- Recommend inventory improvement opportunities that benefit the agency and Corin’s business goals
- cost-effectively maintain Annual Audit requirements
- Optimizing cost reduction opportunities through inventory management at assigned region accounts including streamlining inventory, resolving inventory discrepancies, and recovering expiring and underutilized inventory
- Establish direct relationships with agencies, understanding the limits of efficiency within each territory to optimize consignment levels
- Ensure physical counts are performed at agencies as necessary to maintain accurate reporting of inventory and capital assets
- Perform requisite training at agencies to help agents and agent representatives establish more efficient operations
- Analyze the performance of consigned assets and act to retrieve inventory where it is not needed or no longer justified
- Work with Field Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Operations staff to obtain information regarding audits, reconciliation, product retrieval, and operational excellence
- Create standard reports regarding consignment inventory status, project updates, improvement impacts etc.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university or equivalent; and/or 2 years related supply chain or materials management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in medical devices or orthopaedic products is strongly preferred
- Must demonstrate proficient computer skills, i.e. Windows, databases, hardware, and troubleshooting
- Organized, detail-oriented and a team player capable of working in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized and have good time management
- A self-starter and goal-oriented with persuasive skills

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $70,000-80,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Schedule
Significant domestic travel (at times, upwards of 75%) is required to work successfully with our Distributor and Agent partners.
