Field Hockey Coach - Varsity Assistant

About the role

The Field Hockey Coach - Varsity Assistant at Tallwood High School is responsible for supporting the head coach in all aspects of the team's operations, including game preparation, player development, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of practices and games
• Work closely with the head coach to develop and implement training programs
• Manage team logistics, including travel arrangements and equipment maintenance
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders
• Support the team's fundraising efforts

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with administrative tasks such as scheduling and budgeting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The pay for this position is $25 per hour.

Schedule

The Field Hockey Coach - Varsity Assistant will be required to work approximately 10 hours per week during the school year.
