About the Role
DO & CO has an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Field Helper/Guide in Boston. We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly – sometimes beyond our own expectations.
Responsibilities
- Capable to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Requirements necessary to obtain/hold/maintain airport ID
- Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
- Majority of duties performed outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
- Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by coworkers
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in loading, unloading or any related logistics activities
- High school diploma preferred
- Valid driving license required
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs
