Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security and public safety systems including CCTV and video surveillance systems, access control systems and card readers, intrusion detection and alarm systems, mass notification and emergency alert systems, Access Control Points (ACP) and Entry Control Points (ECP), and vehicle barrier systems including hydraulic gates, crash-rated barriers, and electromechanical bollards.
- Document maintenance actions, coordinate parts replacement, and work directly with Navy and installation personnel to ensure system availability and mission readiness.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics, field maintenance, or security system support
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Basic administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, Teams, and ticketing/work order systems (e.g., Remedy)
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally (up to 10%)
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Military electronics maintenance or technical maintenance roles
- Physical security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
- Access Control Points (ACP) and Entry Control Points (ECP)
- Vehicle barrier systems including hydraulic gates, bollards, and crash-rated perimeter security systems
- Low-voltage electrical systems
- Field service technician roles in military, aircraft, airport, industrial, or other mission-critical environments
