About the Role

Join GDIT as a Field Engineering Sr Manager and contribute to critical outcomes for complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. This role involves managing MK 41 VLS equipment maintenance and testing to meet stringent VLS requirements and support US National Security.

Responsibilities

• Manage over 20 direct reports in the day-to-day operations of VLS shipboard and VLS production.
• Collaborate with multiple GDIT departments, including Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop, and outside vendors/subcontractors.
• Drive schedules and manage the workforce to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
• Utilize experience as a VLS Test Director to ensure current and correct VLS policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain a fluid relationship with the VLS PEO and VLS ISEA.
• Maintain an active and fluid relationship with VLS customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience (20+ years of related experience preferred).
• VLS Test Director expertise.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• US citizenship.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
