Opportunity
- Showcase your expertise in technical repair for Roche-assigned product lines
- Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory
- Provide routine technical support, on-site service and repair of Roche products
- Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures
- Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction
This field-based role requires up to 40% travel. This person will support Memphis, TN (Ideal candidate to live in Memphis, TN or 20 miles away).
Who You Are
- A high school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking OR a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking
- Successfully trained or certified as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy
- The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are required
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry
Pay
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tennessee is $71,100.00 - $132,000.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
