Responsibilities

• Travel and showcase expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines
• Offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory
• Perform routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products
• Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues
• Document all activities and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures
• Perform preventative maintenance

Requirements

• A high school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required
• 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking are necessary
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience will suffice
• Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory
• The ability to travel, including overnight travel, is a requirement for this role

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are required
• Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry
• The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential
